Swiss Bioscience and OrganTech Announce Strategic Collaboration in Hair Regeneration

Swiss Bioscience GmbH and OrganTech, Inc., a Japan-based biotechnology company originating from research at RIKEN, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore strategic collaboration in the development and commercialization of hair regeneration technologies in Europe.

Under the MOU, OrganTech has selected Swiss Bioscience as its preferred strategic partner in Europe for regulatory development, GMP manufacturing, clinical research, and potential commercialization of its conditioned medium technology.

The initial collaboration will focus on exploring the potential licensing and technology transfer of OrganTech’s technology related to conditioned medium derived from allogeneic hair follicle cells. The companies intend to evaluate potential pathways for technology transfer, GMP manufacturing, regulatory development, clinical research, and future commercialization in Switzerland and the broader European market.
